Meet the Founder
Personal Origins:
Grew up in a traditional family-run Medical Hall, learning business values, community trust, and entrepreneurship from an early age.
Discipline & Education:
Graduated from a rigorous Tank Commanders Course in 1980, then earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1986. These experiences instilled strategic thinking, resilience, and global perspective.
Career Highlights:
- Over 35 years of China investment and management experience (since 1987)
- Founded Shanghai Mai An Ke Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. (a Sino-foreign joint venture) in 1996
- Led and supported transformative projects across AI, biotechnology, home textiles, and industrial innovation
- Facilitated technology investment and market entry initiatives across China
- Founder, Singapore One Belt One Road Cultural Agency
Community & Leadership:
- Lions Club member (1990–1993)
Lessons Learned:
Early ventures taught that trust, relationships, and cultural understanding matter more than written contracts. Qing Rong experienced partnership failures and regulatory shifts firsthand, lessons now shared with young entrepreneurs to help them avoid costly mistakes.
